Tamarack Resort offers 30km of groomed trails and even allows dogs in designated areas. Terrain is varied. Currently we do not know if Tamarack will be grooming the Nordic trails for 2009-2010 winter season but you can still cross-country ski or snowshoe at the Resort. Ponderosa State Park has groomed trails that meander through 60ft Ponderosa Pines and Douglas Firs. Jug Mountain Ranch also has groomed trails during the winter months. There are additional trails at River Ranch in McCall and at the Acitivity Barn as well.
