There are both commerical and primative hot springs in the general area of all to enjoy. Idaho actually has more concentration of Hot Springs than any other state. Relax in the soothing waters after a hike or mountain bike ride, bring and picnic and enjoy the outdoors. Gold Fork Hot Springs is located 6 miles from the town of Donnelly, 14 from Tamarack Resort. It offers 8 pools and is open year-round with easy access. Burgdorf Hot Springs was founded in 1870 and is a ghost town. It is open year round but during the winter months the only access is by snowmobile which is a fun excursion for the day. It is located 35 miles north of McCall.
