Kelly's Whitewater Park, Cascade, Idaho
Kelly's Whitewater Park opens Summer 2010 in Cascade, Idaho. Located on the banks of the Payette River will boast one feature many whitewater parks lack, a 2600 square foot welcome center that can be used for social functions. The center overlooks the whitewater park and has amphitheater-type seating for 55 people as well as changing and bath rooms. The North Fork of the Payette River suits the park with its sandy beaches. Big rocks and boulders for children to climb upon and sit and sun themselves. It will have protected wading pools and a side channel for learning how to kayak. Local whitewater champions Devon Barker and Yadi Spangenberg will instruct sutdents.
